Skin loves hydration, after all it's the majority of what your made up of, so don't skimp on the water intake. Be sure to get your full 8+ glasses a day to make sure your skin is hydrated and glowing!
I say a month here, but really it's best just to leave them off till after your session. Tan lines can be awful and you definitely don't want them popping up in your images. So ditch that big watch till after your session, I promise you can put it back on as soon as were done! And while were on tan lines, protect that skin with sunblock....sun burns are not your friend!
Hydration, protection, are you getting a hint here. Protect your lips and skin and stay hydrated. Flaky dry lips are the worst!!
Whew, lots of info on the sun, after all it is summer when we take your photos so these are all important. If you tan easily using a couple different tops throughout the summer will help make those lines a little less obvious!
Make sure that every outfit has the appropriate undergarments, you will be getting photos from the back, side and front we don't want any of the things showing that shouldn't be!
I feel like this one may be more for the guys, but I've had girls show up with wrinkly clothes too. Take the time to iron what needs to be ironed and then hang them up. We don't want you looking like you just pulled your clothes out of the laundry!
Orange, yes it looks orange on camera, even if you think you look fabulous....orange. So let's just skip this all together ok.
Sticking with your routine means your skin knows what to expect, don't switch it up as you don't know how your skin will react. Also, don't pick at your blemishes, it's easier and cleaner to edit out a little spot than a big spot!
Being prepared and having your outfits ready early helps you to relax as the day gets closer. Solid colors are fabulous, no logos hanging out on clothing, and definitely plan out at least 5-6 looks!
I promise to do my part to make the session fun and enjoyable and exactly what you want. If you have a certain playlist you love we can broadcast that to the speaker and jam out, bring along a parent that makes you comfortable and confident and be sure to just relax. It'll be easy, I'll walk you through it all! Let's just have some fun!
